Shop assistant, weekends

[Example] Corner Stores — Station Road

Saturday and Sunday shifts in a small village shop. Serving, stocking, and opening up.

Two shifts a week, 8am to 2pm, with the option of picking up extra cover during holidays. You would be on with one other person, so you need to be happy working without someone watching over you.

Duties are straightforward: serve customers, keep the shelves filled, take deliveries in, and cash up at the end of the shift.

Good for someone at college or looking for a few regular hours alongside something else.

How to apply

Use the form on this page. It sends your name, your email and your note straight to the employer’s inbox — you do not need an account, and nothing is stored on this site beyond the record that an application was made.

Keep the note short and specific: what you have done before, when you could start, and anything the employer asked for in the description above. Two or three sentences is plenty for a local job.
